The Different Watch Band Methods

Apple Watch Band Jig

I use the jig method. It’s been the easiest for me.

I used the Apple watchband jig method. The jig method basely means a template of where to line up your bands to make engraving easier.

I cut my jigs out of cardboard. Some crafters make it from wood but I make a jig for each watch band and it’s easier for me.

I used a file from Etsy. Click here for the file I used.

The Pin Down Method

In the Glowforge community, there is a file for free pins. Honeycomb bed holdown pins. Using this method you would take your crumb tray out completely and use your honeycomb bed pins to pin your watch down to engrave your design directly on your bands.

How to clean the watchband after engraving them

How do I clean my engraved my Glowforge Apple watch band?

The easiest method for me is using hand sanitizer and a toothbrush. There are many methods to clean your apple watch bands. Many crafters use an Electric tooth water pick.

When you use this method you are basting your watch band clean using the electric tooth water pick. This is my second go to method.
