Have a Happy Holographic Halloween. This shirt is scary good

Halloween doesn’t have to be boring. Honestly, every year it’s the same ol’ black, orange, and sometimes green. This year I wanted to do something fun. So I’m going to be doing a series of 31 days of Halloween. This will be posted on all social media platforms.

So I’m going to be doing a series of 31 days of Halloween. Each day a different craft!!! A different Freebie!! So that means I’ll see you tomorrow.

Materials Needed

  • Cricut Maker
  • Holographic HTV vinyl
  • Heatpress
  • Shirt

The first step to making this shirt is downloading my freebie. This shirt was inspired by my fav Regina Hall as The Icon Brenda. Do y’all all remember Brenda from Scary Movie? I want to give this talented bitch her flowers, for always making me laugh, and having the most iconic quotes

Damn, this some scurry shit!

Step One

Because it’s still hot here in SC. I’ll be using a short sleeve shirt but you could use whatever shirt, a sweatshirt that you want.

Pro Tip: press your shirt for a second before you apply your vinyl. It makes your shirts turn out so much better.

Step Two

Go to design space and upload my SVG and following the steps below.

How to use Design Space

Cricut now has the option of using their app offline. If you go to cricut.com and click on design.

Next, you will be taken to this download menu.

Design Space is pretty user-friendly and easy to navigate. If you are interested in a more indebted tutorial. I have a great video here.

Once you upload your design we are to hit that ….button

The settings used are Holographic settings. As mentioned below.

Make sure you mirror your design. When using HTV you will cut your design backward to press on your shirt.

Why do you mirror your design before pressing it (a visional to explain)
